At PTS, personnel safety is an integral part of the planning and execution of every task. Our safety record for the past five years is at zero recordable injuries. This was achieved by adhering to rigorous standards that ensure safe operation and protection of the environment, personnel, customers, and communities in which we do business.
We expect all PTS employees to exercise good judgment, properly use and maintain provided tools, wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adhere to established safe practices and procedures. Plant leadership is responsible for providing safe and healthful working conditions, and all PTS employees are required to follow safe work practices while performing assigned tasks. Each employee has a personal responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of their colleagues.
PTS’ safety philosophy is one in which all injuries can be prevented. In the event of a unique situation not specifically addressed by an existing safety rule or procedure, there is no substitute for an alert mind and good judgment when faced with the unexpected.
